Regular Season

GIRLS (Grades 3rd - 6th)

Evaluation Dates 9/15 or 9/17 and 9/23 or 9/25 - You will be notified of your exact dates.

All players must come to the evaluation date assigned.

Player's Evaluation Date will be scheduled by the Organization. It will NOT be open date evaluations as in the past.

BOYS (Grades 7th - 8th)

  • Tryout 11/22 MUST be registered, no late registrations will be accepted
  • TRYOUT 11/22 @ MANHEIM
  • 8:45 Check In
  • 9:00-11:00 Tryout
  • mandatory parent meeting at 9:00am

ONLY eligible for players NOT making the school team

WHO

  • Juniors (Any player entering 5th-6th grade)
  • Rinks (Any player entering 3rd-4th grade)


Parents that are untruthful on grade level are subject to have their player removed from the program


ALL PLAYERS MUST LIVE IN THE SOUTH WESTERN SCHOOL DISTRICT

WHAT

  • Travel League Grades 3-8
  • Teams Travel York and Adams Counties
  • Competitive Environment
  • Games Played Across York and Adams Counties
  • Practices are minimum twice per week day
  • As many as 18 games could potentially be played from Dec - March
  • Playing Time is NOT equal



  • Rec League Grades 3-6 have teams
  • Teams Play games on Sunday's at Gettysburg Area School District
  • Competitive Environment
  • Less Travel
  • Typically a 10 game season
  • Practices are minimum twice a week with possibility of a Saturday morning practice
  • Playing Time is close to Equal

EVALUATIONS

  • Will be held the 2nd and 3rd week of September
  • 3 teams selected per Division (A, B & Rec)
  • If there are more participants than eligible spots on teams, those not making a team will be directed to the YMCA Program
  • No cost for Evaluations
  • Will be notified by email on team selection
  • All player team acceptance must be accepted by no later than Sunday 10/5

COST

  • No upfront cost until Team Acceptance
  • Registration Cost - $125/player

UNIFORM - NEW DESIGN THIS YEAR

  • Rent or Purchase Options
  • Purchase - $100
  • Rental - $40 + $25 security deposit = $65
    Security deposit to be returned when uniform is handed in, in good condition
  • Practice Jersey - $20.00
    If previous practice jersey fits, you do     NOT need to purchase a new one

LITTLE MUSTANGS

We are a program which provides opportunities for children in the South Western School District to play basketball year round. We focus on teaching fundamentals to new players and pushing experienced players to improve their skill level even further. Our goals include teaching self-confidence, sportsmanship and cooperation to boys and girls in a healthy, team-oriented environment.

LITTLE MUSTANGS

  • Registration Fee is $65.00
  • Players in K-2nd Grade
  • Practices will be 6:15-7:15 on Tuesday (Advanced) or Wednesday (Beginners) starting in December - Tentative 10 Sessions
  • Free Practice Jersey
  • No Tryouts Necessary
  • This is instructional with a HEAVY emphasis on SKILLS
  • GAMES will be played the first 3 Saturday's in February
